This film is the prequel to the XMen films. It brings together Professor Charles Xavier, Erik Lensherr (Magneto) and a band of young mutants. Wētā FX handled extensive visual effects work for the film's final showdown between the Soviet and US navies near Cuba, using physicsbased simulations to solve some of the most challenging sequences in the film.
