Worn drawbar ring wear edge and bracket change

Snowball Engineering

In this video I get through 3 jobs.
The first is replacing a drawbar ring on a Triffitt trailer. I use the 9” grinder and the air arc gouger to remove the old ring. The new ring is preheated and welded in and then the top plate is also rewelded back on.

Second job is to replace a wear edge on a bucket.
This is removed using the plasma cutter in cutting mode and also gouging mode. Once its removed the cracks in the floor are repaired, the new edge is fitted and welded down the back side with some extra corner plates to hopefully help stop it from cracking again. The buckets turned back over and the edge is fully welded across the front.

Last job is to swap brackets on a feed bucket from Sanderson to Manitou. Again, these are cut off with the plasma cutter to make room for the manitou brackets to be welded on.

Thanks for watching.
Hope you enjoyed the video.
