EPISODE 2:    • How to Swim 53 Hours NONSTOP!  

What started out as an attempt at the World's Longest NonStop Lake Swim, quickly (and unintentionally) turned into the World's HOTTEST NonStop Lake Swim as the Italian Meteorological Society named the 48°C (118.4°F) heatwave that hit Lake Trasimeno after the mythical monster Cerberus (the dog that guards the gates of Hell). It was basically like swimming in a big bowl of soup as scientists claim this month was the hottest ever recorded! In short, NOT ideal conditions. But despite all of this, it was an INCREDIBLE experience that I was lucky enough to share with an EPIC team who displayed PURE heroics throughout the entire swim. Cannot wait for the next swim (yes, training has already begun) ;)
