I've spent the last couple of months in the evenings and in my spare time between work refurbing my workshop. It was a mess with no real work flow. As it wasn't insulated it was cold in the winter and baking hot in the summer. It had a leaking roof. I've completed the general refurb in this video. Though I still need to build my traditional bench ,tool cabinets and some drawers etc to store things and keep it organised. I have kept my band saw , bench sander ,lathe and planer thicknesser in the workshop (the thicknesser cant be seen and it pulls out secretly ,video to come ! ). I've reduced my power tools to reduce dust and intend to be using hand tools a lot more, see my workshop heaven tool unboxing video ,I wanted to achieve a nice, calm , cleaner more organised space to do my wood working. Its not been designed to accommodate the use of large sheet mdf material anymore id go as far to say MDF is almost Banned ! I have kept my portable table saw and router table but they will be taken out as and when needed. My small Bosch Mitre saw will be added soon. I also have the Bosch track saw, routers and a Large collection of Bosch battery tools , 18v and 12v to be added soon but Tool racks will be required over time . With the limited space it needs thinking about properly .
