Engine 502 responding to a reported outbuilding fire. Updated information was given that it was a wood Grinder on fire at a mulch processing facility. The Engine arrived, laid out, and stretched a line to extinguish the fire. Engine 542 arrived and gave Engine 502 their water and their crew pulled an additional line. A: Our fire house is located in the town of Willow Street, just south of Lancaster City, Lancaster County Pennsylvania.

A: That is called the "RotoRay," it is a spinning light designed to catch drivers attention.

Q: "Why is the call so far away?" or "Why does it take so long to get there?"
A: Many of our responses, or at least many of the ones that are uploaded are responding to assist other departments. Usually another firehouse can be seen or is passed by who is already on the call. We can reach the far end of our first due in West Lampeter Twp within 5 minutes, and in Providence Twp about 7.
