Working all by myself this morning feeding sheep while Arnie took our first batch of lambs to the market. When he got back, he set about putting out straw for the sheep while I setup gates so that we could let the Suffolk lambs out to play for a little while in the pasture. While they were in the pasture, we also let the Dorset lambs out in the barnyard. So many came out to play that we decided to round them up and take them to the weaning barn. We had planned on weaning them later this week, but this way, we didn't have to separate them from their mothers, they did it themselves! Worked perfectly!
