This video depicts the use of Sketch Up and BigPrint software to produce a 3D design and full scale templates and a full size chair layout.

This capability is immensely helpful in producing complex shaped templates and the layout of all connected pieces that shows their interconnections.

While the Accent Chair design is revealed in Sketch Up, the intent is not to go into much detail about that program. Rather the intent is to illustrate making templates and full scale layout hard copy. This hard copy can be used directly to show how all the work pieces go together.

The templates can be used to make full scale work pieces by tracing them directly on the chosen wood and cutting out the outline on a band saw.
