How to Make Wooden Drawer Slides.

My favorite drawer slides have been out of stock and backordered for weeks. So instead of using lower quality and finicky drawer slides, I have decided to make my own. Wooden drawer slides have been used in furniture for 100s of years. In fact, many of the antique furniture pieces in my own home use wooden drawer slides that still function well after 80, 90 or even 100 years (And those years involve a lot of kids!)

So I'm making the switch from impossible to get imported drawer slides to making my own.
