I forgot to mention: it comes with instructions re how much water/soap to add depending on the load size. And I like to add a kettle of nearboiling water because my sink water doesn't get very hot. If you have hot water straight from the faucet, you probably don't need to do that bit! I also put my drain on upsidedown because my poor old sink can't keep up with the water flow if I put it on the "right" way.
