In this video, I provide my perspective on the idea that a woman's life starts at 18 while a man's life starts at 30. This is, in my opinion, one of the biggest limiting beliefs in the self improvement space, so I hope that this video helps cultivate a sense of personal empowerment.

A man’s life begins
The day he turns thirty
A statement so sturdy
It’s turned to a stigma
Like being a sigma
Or alpha or beta
To wait a whole third
Of the years you’ve been given
To start living life
That you believe women
Can have twelve years early
Is surely not an ideal strategy
Some will get mad at me
For going against the grain
But how could I sit here
And watch all this pain
Be passed around
For the sake of silly sentiments?
Do you really believe that the entrance
To life is three whole decades
Down the hallway?
If so, have you always
Thought this to be the case?
Are you willing to waste
Your years as you wait
For a fate that might be false?
Because I prefer to waltz
Through the door at twenty three
Even before the money trees
Have provided me with shade
I’ve laid a foundation
For which men have prayed
And never got an answer
I’ll build on my wins
By removing the cancerous thought
That a man’s life begins
When he’s handed a prosperous spot
