This was not the first time that I saw someone get his 3,000th career hit, but it IS the first time that I filmed a video for YouTube. The first was Derek Jeter at Yankee Stadium in 2011, and the second was Alex Rodriguez in 2015 again in the Bronx. As for Miguel Cabrera, he became the 33rd member of the 3,000hit club on April 23, 2022, and even though I didn't have a chance to catch it, I'm thrilled to have simply been in attendance.
