Many people ask us what winter in Canada is like. How do we survive? How do our cars start? How do our pipes not freeze? For people who live in tropical climates, it's perplexing to think that we live our lives through 30, 50, and even colder for up to 6 months of the year!

We can see how this might seem crazy, so we've gone ahead and put together a video to explain how it all works!

The winter is good, bad, and just plain cold. The good is that it brings immense beauty with nature covered in a blanket of white snow, as well as many activities such as skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and more. The bad is that it's very cold, icy, and sometimes just plain miserable.

You really need to find an outdoor activity that helps you enjoy the winter. Otherwise, you'll be in your home all day!
