You've seen us fishing a lot lately with the drones, but on days when the wind is too strong did you know you can use a kite, using the same tackle as your drone? Adding a kite to your fishing kit gives you the option of fishing in winds that are too strong for the drone, giving you a lot more fishing days.

Using a fishing kite to cast ten hooks baited with fresh mullet around 900 metres off Muriwai beach using a game fishing rod and reel in winds too strong for the drone. The kite fishing kit is a FlexiWing kite, flown on 80lb Spectra line.
