We bought a 1985 Winnebago chieftain 22 for $2500. I cleaned the Quadra jet four barrel carburetor got the Chevy 454 running, then drove it home while the wife cleaned it. I resealed the top we shampoo the interior made new memory foam beds and hit the road to go camping!
Only issue was a fuel pick up issue. The more we lost mileage. First we were able to go on 20 gallons then ran out of fuel at 11 gallons burned. Then ran out at 3 gallons burned. Easy to say it was a very long day getting back!
