Today I travel back to Valhalla Provincial Park to hike overnight in the mountains. Instead of going solo, I am joined by my mom. Unfortunately Gwillim Lakes is not dog friendly.

A six hour drive from Kelowna, we got to basecamp late Friday night and spent the next 24 hours wild camping, swimming in alpine water and living off of coffee and mr. noodles.
