HealthWatch Wisconsin

Wisconsin's Department of Health Services has announced FoodShare households would once again receive the maximum monthly benefit amount, this time for the month of May. Families can expect to see benefits available for use on QUEST cards on May 16. This is a continuation of the “FoodShare Emergency Allotment” that once again includes two enhancements: an extra 15% benefit total authorized by federal law, and a guarantee that all households, especially the lowest income, see at least a $95 emergency allotment. We explain.
