What causes a cat to go Outside the Litterbox? Outside, near, or even very far from the litterbox?

One reason might be litter box aversion (avoidance), which could be caused by any number of traumas that cause a negative association between your cat and either the box, the litter, or both. Let’s start to dig in to this issue…see what I did there?
