The Aston DBS V8 was a true Aston Martin, launched in the 1970s as a wholly new car it combined aggression and class, setting a new direction for Aston. As a James Bond car the base six cylinder DBS was underpowered but the later V8 finally set things back on path and is perhaps the ultimate Aston driven by 007! Today I drive it and see how it measures up as a classic car.
