While many people will say you are "never too old" to try a new sport, they don't sincerely mean it. There are certain athletic activities which are viewed as "weird" or "inappropriate" by society. While many people may think BMX is one of those sports exclusive to children, they would be surprised to learn the oldest age categories of BMX racing are over the age of 60.
