On June 25th 1876, the 7th Regiment of Cavalry of Lieutenant colonel George A. Custer was crushed by a coalition of Sioux and Cheyennes. One century after the USA independence, the Battle of Little Bighorn fromed a trauma for the Americans. The responsibility of that military fiasco was attributed to Custer, but for many people, many grey areas are remaining. So let's come back on the events which have led to this battle and let's understand why it's so controversial in the USA.
