Happy Halloween. I'm talking about the most nightmareinducing virus: rabies lyssavirus. But if you came here for the gory details, this might not be the video for you. Instead, I want to have a look at why this virus is so hard to overcome, as it sits at an unbelievable 100% mortality rate once symptoms show. Are our immune systems slacking? Or has rabies evolved some truly terrifying means of evasion?
