I do not regret getting into the sport. I only have positive things that I took away from it. For me, I typically find myself moving on to other things shortly after find a new interest. Maybe if the circumstances were different in my situation, I would have stuck with it. Your experience might be totally different than mine.

One thing that I did not mention in the video is the extra gear. I felt it was too personal. However, I did buy a bunch of gear spending thousands. some camera stuff I only used once or twice. But every time I went, I felt I had to record my flights with 23 cameras. It felt wrong if I didn't. Then after I would waste hours of time putting a video together with the footage. I realize I had no obligation to, but it also felt like I wasted money on equipment if I didn't use it. Then why record it if I did not use it. Why create a video if I don't share it. Soo....it always felt like I had a duty to do so. This added another element of stress. Hobbies that add stress are not hobbies. That alone was not a factor in quitting, its just something to think about.
