I set out on a 10 mile hike and wildcamp in the Dark Peak, but my plans didn't quite work out... I still enjoyed the hike and felt carrying the heavy load was good training for upcoming adventures, but when it came down to it I just didn't feel like camping I was tired, cold and the weather was a little miserable! I suppose sometimes that's just how it goes... I felt really bad for bailing so spent a few minutes at the end reflecting on why, and hopefully learning some lessons from this 'failed' wildcamp for the future.
