Hey guys! I'm back after a couple of weeks. In this weeks video, I talk about why I chose to start off in outpatient/home care nursing as a new grad. There are a couple reasons why. The last couple of weeks I've been thinking as to whether or not this was the right choice for me. As a new grad, we may always feel as if we need to get our dream job right away or may feel like we HAVE TO start inpatient. Starting off inpatient will definitely allow you to learn a lot in a short amount of time. For me, I knew inpatient wasn’t for me. The long hours, lack of sleep, and risk to my mental health was not worth it. So far, the biggest thing I've learned is to be open to different opportunities and see where it takes you.
