I became a member in 2012 and faithfully served in various leadership positions for years. In 2022, I was asked by a member and fellow believer to research with them, "Why did so many Christians denounce AKA, and why did they decide to do it publicly?" And this is what I found.

I encourage you to meditate on the Questions and Scriptures below and let the Holy Spirit be your guide:

1. Why am I okay entering into a Spiritual Realm to give respect to another entity? (Exodus 20:3, Ephesians 6: 1012)

2. Why do we bow before a table in A Ritual? (Exodus 20:46)

3. Why am I okay wearing another god on my clothing? (Job 26:7, Isaiah 45:5)

4. Why is everything done in secret? (Mark 4:22, Romans 2:16)

5. How did I miss the signs? As someone who identifies as a Christian and an AKA, I believe I am only worshipping God; how would I have been deceived? ( Matthew 4:57)

These scriptures and many more led me to denounce my Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated membership. They brought me to the truth that I needed to renounce any ties and covenants I have made with the organization.
