As more of Brian Peppers' backstory was revealed, Brian Peppers memes became increasingly rampant, especially on YTMND. Brian Peppers was one of the biggest YTMND fads of the mid 2000s.

At the height of the Brian Peppers fad, a user named grimaf made a YTMND site imploring people to stop making fun of Brian Peppers because he was clearly disabled. As grimaf's site gained traction, another user claimed to be Brian's brother, Allen Peppers.

Allen told a very in depth tale about Brian Peppers' circumstances. But was he really Brian's brother?
