I often get the comment that you can’t, or you shouldn’t apply veneer using contact submit. Here’s an example of a piece that I’ve been using Contacts cement eight years ago. After taking a close look, you can see that there is no delamination of any kind. I’ve been using contacts meant to apply veneer for almost 30 years now and have never had a problem.
I decided to freshen this piece up with another coat of lacquer and thought I’d make a quick video to show you how this piece has held up.
