While we were filming our full tour of Green Arrow (see links below), Laura from the Collections team at Danum stopped by for a chat with Anthony about the locomotive's importance to Doncaster, where it was built in 1936.

Doncaster Works was a hotbed of locomotivebuilding activity in the first half of the 20th century, producing some of the world's most famous engines including Flying Scotsman, Mallard and, of course, Green Arrow, nicknamed the 'sawnoff Scotsman'.
