Who is Alan Watts?
Alan Watts (19151973) was a prominent British philosopher, writer, and speaker celebrated for his significant contribution to bringing Eastern philosophy and spiritual ideas to the Western world. Originating from England, he cultivated a profound interest in Buddhism and Taoism during his early years. In the early 1930s, Watts moved to the United States, where he played an incredibly important role in shaping the counterculture movement of the 1960s.
