There are definitely a couple things you should have ready before you even think of bringing home a chinchilla. First you need to have the cage all set up. I recommend the feisty ferret of critter nation, as long as it has two levels. You will also need a carrier to put them in on the way home. Of course make sure to prepare all the bedding and food beforehand and reserve an area for playtime.
