Izamal is a magical town located in the state of Yucatan. This place was a ceremonial civic center where there were 7 pyramids. Upon arrival the Spanish respected some of these constructions but used the material of others for new buildings, it is because of this fusion coupled with the current era that Izamal is known as the city of the 3 cultures.

In this Costo x Destino I visited famous attractions of this site such as the convent of San Antonio de Padua and some archaeological sites such as Itzamatul, Kinich Kakmó and Chaltún Ha.

I also toured the town by bike, I got to know the Cultural and Craft Center of Izamal, I went to a hammock workshop and I stayed at the Rinconada del Convento hotel, which has a wonderful view.

I also ate at the Zamna restaurant and had breakfast at the Izamal market.
