I've tried 12 different methods to find out what the best way is to finish MDF edges. And to be honest I was really surprised by some of these tests!

I think the most cost and time efficient is test number 3: Primer sanding primer sanding finish.

All 12 tests:
* Slap on paint
* Primer sanding finish
* Primer sanding primer sanding finish
* Diluted wood glue primer sanding finish
* CA glue (or epoxy) primer sanding finish
* Wood putty sanding primer sanding finish
* Normal putty sanding primer sanding finish
Bonus test 1: Paper tape?! Yes!
Bonus test 2: DIY edge band
Bonus test 3: Something special ;)
Bonus test 4: Brush on putty filler
Bonus test 5: Shellac
