A Social Security disability hearing can be anxietyinducing at the best of times, and depending on the judge, it can go smoothly or contentiously. That’s why it’s key to properly prepare, and part of that includes learning what NOT to say. Today I’ll share a list of things you should avoid saying and phrases that you should eliminate from your vocabulary before a hearing. For one, don’t volunteer any information. This isn’t the time for you to tell your story, but rather a chance for you to confirm the limitations in your medical records.
