Is the Riviera 585 SUV the best 60ft coupe on the market?

Riviera’s are boats designed to be used with deepvee offshore hulls and strong performance. The 585 SUV will top out at 35 knots with the largest IPS1350 motors with 1,000hp on each side.

The exterior is a great mix of leisure space and welldesigned areas for watersports and fishing. The lower cockpit is wide and packed with storage and with options for rod storage and live bait wells is perfectly suited to casting rods and fighting fish. The raised mezzanine deck is wellshaded and ideal for alfresco dining close to the galley.

Inside, the boat rings with quality and practical detailing. The woodwork is outstanding, as is the practical detailing. With the galley aft and the lounge area forward, there is a homefromhome feel to the saloon, which is packed with storage space and natural light from the huge saloon windows.

Below deck, there are three good cabins including a VIP ensure forward and a twin with sliding berths that switch between two single beds or a double at the touch of a button. The owner’s suite is amidships and it has direct access to a utility space/crew cabin which lies between the cabin and the engine room.
