Jim "Pee Wee" Martin, a paratrooper of G Company, 506th PIR, was a man who became a legendary member of the WWII veteran community in his later years. Quiet and humble, he made himself accessible to others and maintained an adventurous spirit until his passing. Many of the items that he brought back from the war are now in the collection of The Gettysburg Museum of History and with Jim's passion for education and history, it seems only appropriate that we share it.
