Subaru XMODE enhances the already excellent Subaru symmetrical allwheel drive technology on your Subaru. In today's video I show you how Subaru XMODE works on my 2023 Subaru Outback Onyx and when you would want to use Subaru XMODE. XMODE can help you regain traction and get your Subaru out of situations when your symmetrical allwheel drive system has lost traction. XMODE also adds a feature called Hill Descent Control, which will automatically apply the brakes for you when going down steep hills.
