For wandering souls the Alaska Ferry has always had a bit of romance to it. We spent 3 September nights taking the Alaska Ferry from Haines, AK to Bellingham, WA. Although we knew it was not going to be a cushy cruise ship we were surprised that the limited amenities were more than enough to make it an enjoyable and interesting trip.
