I explore shooting in Log format, in the Flexible ISO mode, specifically SLog3, on the Sony ZVE1 camera. Shooting in Log can significantly enhance your footage by providing a wider dynamic range and greater flexibility in postproduction. Yet, being able to monitor your log footage incamera with a LUT is a lifesaver. This is the LUT I use for SLOG3:

The Sony ZVE1 offers the powerful SLog3 logarithmic profile, providing an impressive 14 stops of dynamic range. This enables you to capture a wide range of details in both bright and dark areas of your scene.
To shoot in SLog3 on the ZVE1, set your camera to Flexible ISO mode. This allows you to adjust the ISO sensitivity based on your shooting conditions, giving you better control over exposure.
