David Fincher’s The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo – starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara – never had a sequel. So what happened to The Girl Who Played With Fire movie? Why did we never get a follow up to David Fincher’s Girl With the Dragon Tattoo movie, despite being promised one for years? Well, in this video, I do the deepest possible dive into the Dragon Tattoo sequel, and reveal some details of why that fabled, promised sequel never got made.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a 2011 mystery thriller film based on the novel by Stieg Larsson. Directed by David Fincher and starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, it tells the story of Blomkvist's investigation to find out what happened to a girl from a wealthy family who disappeared 40 years ago. He recruits the help of Salander, a computer hacker.
