We visited one of West Virginia’s best kept secrets, Highland Scenic Highway. This West Virginia Scenic Highway in Pocahontas County West Virginia, and Webster County West Virginia has some amazing Appalachian Mountain Roads. This area is remote, but it’s known to hikers looking to give Cranberry Wilderness backpacking a try. Yet, as remote as this area is, it’s not far from Snowshoe Mountain West Virginia, or Snowshoe Mountain Resort. This is awesome mountain country with amazing views of hardwood and red spruce forest communities. We love all of West Virginia Scenic Highlands, but this place is extra special!
