Short West Siberian Laika description:
The West Siberian Laika is a very strong and athletic, medium to large sized breed with average height between 2024 inch, which is 5061 cm and weight is typically between 4055 pounds, which is 1825 kg. The females are typically little bit smaller than males.

Siberia is a place with very low temperatures and the temperatures can be as low as 40 degrees Celsius. So it should not be surprising, that the West Siberian Laika has a very very dense doublecoat with even longer and stiffer hair around the head, on the neck and shoulders. This dense coat protects the dog from the extremely cold weather. You can find this breed wolf gray, pale red and white color.
