Timid Wende went to the Performing Arts College and was impressed by her fellow students.
She never thought of becoming a kind of tiger on stage later on.
But, she did! She outperformed and surprised anyone else.

She commenced as a chansonnière and produced a couple of CD's that were being well received. More and more she got rid of all the ballast and finetuned into her present core activities.
She sings, performs and produces theater with an enormous amount of energy and devotion.

This song 'Laat me' (Let me, or, leave me be) was originally drafted in french. Then it got proficiently translated and transformed into dutch.
Ramses Shaffy sang it and the song became popular.

In this video Wende Snijders sings the original french chanson as well as the dutch counterpart.
With the aid of the magnificent Metropole Orchestra, she is bringing out her best.
The presentation was meant to be a tribute to Ramses.

This video is subtitled in both french and dutch.
Plus, the english translation is appended, making the lyrics possibly more comprehensible.
