Welsh terrier starting to learn the "bucket game" with his family during a follow up lesson with trainer.

His behaviour has massively improved after completing the residential part of the programme with us, not only thanks to the training but also an allergy problem we suspected which is now treated.

We are now working together in the follow up sessions and practising and learning useful skills to continue the progress. Today, one of our aims was preparing him for cooperative, stressfree grooming.

Bucket game is a wonderfully simple permissionbased protocol for grooming, medicating, health examination and all kinds of caregiving activities. It was developed by the amazing Chirag Patel.

This is the first step in the training process: this welsh terrier is learning to stand still and keep his eyes on the "bucket" (food measuring cup).
