Pokemon Card Buyouts and Market Manipulation have been quite the talk in the Pokemon Card Space over the past few weeks. Sadly, when a select few find a way to make money, they take advantage of the situation.

With all the attention being given to Umbreon V, Magikarp, Morty's Conviction, and Evolving Skies, it is important for Pokemon Card Collectors to pivot their position and focus more on things that bring them joy. As ridiculous and cliche as it may sound, it is easy to get caught up in the "money" side of Pokemon Card Collecting and when the focus is turned solely to money, the hobby becomes much less fun. While it may indeed be interesting to see all the price spikes and watch the trends, it is important to remember that these cards have been printed to oblivion, and will continue to be released in Pokemon Collection Boxes and Tins for quite sometime. This will input more of these Pokemon Card into the market, and eventually many of these cards will return to prices that are actually depictive of their demand.
