Basically, Scotty, if you see this (which we hope you do because it's really the main reason we made it) : we fell for you the second you auditioned for American Idol in January of 2011. You continued to win us over from then on. And we've been loving you and your music ever since. It's been over 3 years and we haven't ever seen you live! We've simply experienced your voice via the radio and tv. Then your summer tour for this year was announced and you were going to Columbus, OH which is a 6 hour drive for us but we were going to make the trip because we wanted to see you so badly! But we didn't have money to find a place to stay and travel all the way out there, and get tickets. However, shortly after, we discovered you were performing at the Tennessee Valley Fair and I knew that would be the day we finally got to see you and nothing was going to stop us! We bought our tickets in July, but they went so quickly, and buying for a family of 5, we were only able to get section 200..

Now, we are in no way complaining... We are grateful to even experience the moment, but we really really really want to meet you and we made tshirts and everything. We even bought ride wristbands in hopes to maybe catch you in line for a ride or something crazy like that. We're not asking for a 30 minute conversation. A picture and a "hello" would make us so happy :) And we completely understand if you are unable to grant our requests, but we decided to go out on a limb, make this video, show you our efforts, and hope for the best. If we don't get to meet you, then we still get to see you for the first time ever, hear your voice, and that is enough to make us smile:) And 2 of us get out of college classes, 1 of us get out of high school classes, and dad gets out of work, so "You're worth the drive, you're worth the drive" :)
