**In this vlog I am 13 weeks pregnant with MoDi twins.
The day after we got back from our trip to Sydney to announce our twin pregnancy (see last vlog), I started to feel an unbearable amount of pain in my abdomen. I kept an eye on it but when it hit 24 hours I started to worry.
After talking to twin moms online and the midwife at the hospital I decided to take their advice and go to the Emergency Room at our local hospital. I was so hesitant to go as it seemed like such a dramatic and intense thing to do but looking back on it now I am so glad that I did.
If anyone is reading/watching this and are unsure like I was, please go and get checked! It is so important especially when it comes to your babies, so don’t hesitate just do it :)
For those who have just joined my channel:
MoDi stands for monochorionic diamniotic which means they share one placenta. This makes it a high risk pregnancy as they are prone to TTTS (Twin to twin transfusion Syndrome). To avoid losing one twin I will be monitored closely through almost weekly scans and check ups to make sure that they are growing at the same pace.
