Water mill in Lunenburg County NS
Ivan Corkum is a third generation operator of the family lumber mill in Lunenburg County, NS. The waterpowered sawmill was built around 1913 by Ivan's grandfather. Once common in Nova Scotia, operational waterpowered mills are now rare. Except for the turbine and key iron parts, these mills were handbuilt of local lumber.
