Continuing my journey through Kyoto! First stop: Toji Shrine, a majestic complex known for its towering pagoda and tranquil gardens. Next, I made my way to the Imperial Palace, which was amazing even in the rain!

My final destination, the one I was most excited to see here in Kyoto, is Fushimi Inari! Famous for its stunning pathway lined with thousands of vibrant orange torii gates, creating an otherworldly atmosphere. The entire trail, to the summit of Mount Inari and the descent, is approximately 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) long. We made sure to do it in the evening to watch the sunset over Kyoto!
