My mom and I just finished our epic road trip adventure where we flew to San Francisco, California then drove across all of the northwestern states of the USA back to our homes near St. Louis, Missouri.

This is part five of that journey. We woke up on our second day in Kalispell, Montana, and headed into Glacier National Park. What we DIDN’T know was that from 6AM to 5PM, you need a timed entry ticket to get into the popular entrances of Glacier National Park! This includes the West Glacier and St. Mary’s entrances. (Check out the Glacier National Park website below for the most current information.) Luckily, there was a loophole—we could get into the park at the Two Medicine entrance without a timed entry ticket, and anytime after 5PM, we could go back to the West Glacier entrance and enter without the timed entry. So that’s exactly what we did, and it may have been a blessing in disguise—the Two Medicine section of Glacier National Park is still so breathtaking! Come along with us.
