What I want to show in this video is that anyone with a few basic tools can accomplish this upgrade at home.
After asking a very experienced offroader what the first upgrade to tackle on my Jeep, he said get a heavy duty bumper and a WARN winch. I thought for sure he was going to say bigger tires or lift kit and was kind of surprised by the answer.
The reason is very simple, this bone stock Jeep JKU Rubicon is very capable and until I get a bunch more experience, will get me most anywhere I want to go. However, since my work schedule is a bit crazy, I often times go off roading alone and a winch is a very important factor in getting out of a tough situation.
The other bit of advice from my VERY knowledgeable off roading friend was to just GET OUT AND GO WHEELING! No matter what you have on your rig. So I will, every chance I get and have the confidence that I can get myself out of almost any sticky situation that I may find myself in.
